This reproduction is based on an original artwork created in 2025, reimagined as a limited edition of 50, produced and signed by the artist in 2026. The original piece, executed in acrylic, Indian ink, and graphite on canvas, is presented here as a high-quality print on canvas, preserving the depth, texture, and expressive detail of the artist’s hand.
Measuring 24 × 28 inches, the edition is available in two formats: framed in oak for a refined, natural finish, or as a plain canvas for a more minimal presentation.
No artificial intelligence (AI) was used in the creation of this work.
Artist statement:
From the ancient parable of the Chinese philosopher Zhuangzi - who once dreamed he was a butterfly, only to awaken unsure whether he was Zhuangzi who had dreamed of being a butterfly, or a butterfly now dreaming he was Zhuangzi - I learned how to imagine the world.
Is this place, which I believe to be real, truly real?
Might I be existing simultaneously in another dimension?
Or could there be countless such worlds, layered beyond perception?
These are thoughts that often return to me.
Within a space where yellow light seeps through, small lines cry out, burst into laughter, and writhe with life. I no longer choose to question whether I am Zhuangzi dreaming of a butterfly.
Instead, I simply continue—here, like this—moving forward with quiet intensity.
